Hope is the only daughter of Billy O'Dare.

A classic tomboy, Hope has worked her entire life to be just as good a cop as her brothers and be as much a credit to their family legacy. Hope is also the most "Irish" of the O'Dare clan, taking great pride in her heritage to the point of openly cursing the English. Still, she does tolerate the very British Shade, since he has saved her life and the lives of everyone in the city on several occasions.
